Every year, millions of tonnes of fine sediment flow from eroding land and onto the Great Barrier Reef – choking fish, seagrass and coral, reducing the Reef’s ability to recover from the impacts of climate change. Marking five years of Greening Australia’s ‘Reef Aid’ program, these five short films shine a light on just some of the many people – from landholders, traditional owners and government leaders to scientists, researchers, and philanthropists – who have played a critical role in helping to protect Australia’s greatest natural wonder for generations to come.
